Interview with Sixto Paz: The Ufologist Who Was Abducted by Aliens
Abduction, a voyage to Ganymede and a message for all of humanity. Sixto Paz, a world-renowned figure in ufology, shares his experience.
The interview was conducted by the podcast Escucho Voces in September 2025. It is transcribed verbatim as part of a collaboration with 421.
In the seventies, a group of young people gathered on the sands of Chilca, a desert facing the Peruvian Pacific. They weren't after fame or headlines. They were hoping to confirm a message received from extraterrestrials. The incredible happened: lights in the sky, announced encounters, and a story that has now been going for half a century. Sixto Paz Wells has traveled the world talking about his alien abduction, his trip to Ganymede, and a premonitory message for the future of all humanity.
Welcome to Escucho voces, a series of interviews organized by Grupo Intus, a psychological care center operating in Chile and Argentina with a comprehensive team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and specialists. What goes on in our minds, told out loud. Today we have a very special guest, Mr. Sixto Paz Wells, researcher and one of the best-known figures in the world when it comes to the phenomenon of extraterrestrial contact. Sixto, thank you so much for being with us. It's a pleasure for us to be here with you.
The pleasure is truly mine, and I also want to thank you for making the effort to come all the way to Lima, Peru, to interview me here at home.
Well, for those who don't know you, could you please tell us about yourself, your early years, your childhood?
Well, first of all, my father investigated UFOs as a hobby before I was born. My father was a scientific advisor on aeronautics and astronomy for the Peruvian Air Force, and in his free time he investigated the UFO subject. That's the family environment my siblings and I were born and raised in. My father taught us to think, not to believe, that this was possible in such a vast universe.
The strange thing isn't that there could be life beyond Earth; the strange thing would be if there weren't. Personally, I wasn't very interested in UFOs, I mean, I accepted it as a matter of common sense, of logic. At seventeen, I was more interested in finding the answers to those questions we all ask ourselves at some point in life: Who are we? Where do we come from? Where are we going? I had studied for eleven years with the Marist Brothers. My upbringing was overwhelmingly Catholic, and in religion, well, everything is a mystery. I mean, there are no answers. You have to accept everything on faith or because it's written that way. And in science everything is a theory; there's nothing very solid there either, let's say.
My father taught us to think, not to believe, that this was possible in such a vast universe. The strange thing isn't that there could be life beyond Earth; the strange thing would be if there weren't.
And I was in that searching phase when my father was invited to give a talk at a yoga group, and I went along with him. Really at my mother's insistence, because my mother said: "Lots of ladies go to those yoga meetings, and we can't have them making eyes at your dad." So I had to go along with my father, and I already knew the speech he usually gave on exobiology, on the possibility of extraterrestrial life. But I found a group of people devoted to spiritual matters without turning it into a religion. And I liked it. And I got hooked on hatha yoga, mantra yoga, meditation, and suddenly, really following all the teachings of esotericism and spirituality they passed on, I thought maybe I could find the answers within. I mean, inside myself.
And I started meditating and I really did find a lot of inner peace (I think largely because of my last name too, right? Paz, "peace"). But I still wasn't finding the answers. Then something synchronistic happened next. In early 1974 a news story came out in the most serious and conservative newspaper in Lima, El Comercio, which is sort of the Peruvian version of Chile's El Mercurio, saying it had been discovered that space wasn't the deathly silence people believed, but rather a lot of noise, a lot of racket, and that these sounds, these radio waves, could be messages from other planets, from advanced civilizations that might be trying to communicate with their peers in the universe. Today we know that communicating by radio waves would be the least efficient, okay, the least practical, because radio waves travel at the speed of light. So let's imagine a civilization thirty-five light-years away, on a planet orbiting a star thirty-five light-years away. If they communicate with us through radio waves, their message would take thirty-five years to reach us. And if we answer, the reply would arrive seventy years later. So imagine how inefficient that communication is: "Hi, how are you?" Then, seventy years later: "Fine, and how about you?" So there has to be another way that lets you send a message and have it arrive before it's even been sent.

A smoother kind of communication, sure.
Exactly. And so, well, the story comes out and my father organized a talk within the Air Force and invited a doctor from the Lima Police Hospital, a member of the Theosophical Society, a high-ranking Freemason, and he lectured on how, if extraterrestrials existed, whose only merit would have been getting started before us, they could be reaching Earth not only in their spaceships, but also mentally, telepathically, or astrally, even in dreams, they could be attempting contact with humanity. I was fascinated by the talk; a whole horizon opened up for me, a hundred and eighty degrees of possibilities, and I said: "Maybe these beings have the answer to my questions of who we are, where we come from, and where we're going."
Back home I told my mother and my sister what it had been about, and we came up with the idea of putting into practice what I'd learned in yoga. Everything I learned in yoga I'd repeat with my girlfriend at the time, later my wife, my Marinita. We were together fifty-three years, I mean, forty-six years of marriage plus seven years of dating. She passed away two years ago. She was the best friend I ever had, and I still communicate with her in dreams. She visits me in dreams, ever since I accepted the fact that she had to move on, since she was quite ill. Well, in dreams she tells me she's having a blast, that the other side is wonderful, that it's better than she thought. Reassuring. And that's wonderful, because I had even written a book called Death Does Not Exist: The Great Metamorphosis.
But anyway, the thing is this doctor laid out a series of possibilities, and we came up with the idea of doing the yoga practices of breathing, relaxation, concentration, and meditation to try to make extraterrestrial contact. And, like I said, for me it wasn't so much about seeing UFOs or anything, it was about hearing the point of view these beings might have on those questions that were essential to me. So, on the night of January 22, '74, with my mother and my sister, at my parents' house, which was near the boardwalk (because Lima sits on a balcony, on a cliff overlooking the sea)… So my parents' house was right (well, that house doesn't exist anymore), but it was, well, right across from the cliff. That's where we were born and raised, and that's where we tried to receive the communication, and we received a supposed first extraterrestrial message.

What message?
My whole family, my mother, my sister, and I, the three of us tried it, and I felt an overwhelming compulsion to write down what I was picking up in my mind. I mean, I felt like they were talking to me. So when I wrote down the supposed message, it said: "Living room good for communication. My name is Oxalc. I am from Morlen. You call it Ganymede, one of the moons of Jupiter. Can we have contact with you? Soon you will see us."
I immediately thought it was just mentalism, something welling up from the subconscious, imagination. Because only two years earlier a friend of my father's, José Rosciano Holder, under the pseudonym Josip Ibrahim, had published the book Yo visité Ganímedes (I Visited Ganymede). So I said: "Ah, well, this is just my father's world." I hadn't read the book, but all of that was in the air and I'd heard about it. And so I didn't take it very seriously, but my mother and my sister told me they had felt the same thing, they just hadn't written it down. So the next day we repeated the experiment, and there were about twenty of us, because word spread immediately, and, well, we tried to receive the message again. Again I received it, even though I was sort of predisposed against it, thinking it was imagination, and we asked them for proof.
So he told us to go to the desert south of Lima, because the entire coast of Peru really is desert and there are only fifty-two rivers, which don't necessarily have water all the time; so little oases form. Lima is an oasis, but you go a bit further south, a bit further north, and it's total desert. It's like northern Chile: desert, desert. So here it's easy to be isolated. I mean, you go a little south and there's nobody; you head in among the hills and you're isolated. So he set a meeting for us to go to the desert, because on February 7, '74, at nine at night, we would see the ship appear. I was convinced we weren't going to see anything. But we went. And the advantage of having an astronomer for a father is that he had explained to us everything you can see in the sky: meteorites, light refraction, thermal inversion. So it would've been hard to pull the wool over our eyes.
The supposed message said: "Living room good for communication. My name is Oxalc. I am from Morlen. You call it Ganymede, one of the moons of Jupiter. Can we have contact with you? Soon you will see us."
So the day of the meeting arrives, at the appointed time, and what nobody could have imagined happened. Behind the hills the night lit up as if it were day, and we all saw a light come out from among the hills. It was a light that moved along the mountain ridges, held steady on the horizon to the right, and from there it descended until it was positioned (we estimated) about eighty meters above the twenty of us who'd gone. We felt panic, terror, tremendous fear. Some of my friends, naively, trying to hide behind me, were saying: "Sixto, tell it to go away. You're the one who talks to them." "I don't even know how this works." The last thing I would've imagined: that it was real.
And all of us, not just me anymore, all of us picked up in our minds that they were telling us they weren't coming down, since we weren't prepared, that there would be a preparation, a time, and a place. Then, after a few minutes, it rose and left at great speed. We jumped for joy, we all hugged each other. But I couldn't believe it. Why us, a group of nobody kids in a developing country? It made no sense at all for us to have an experience like this. I even came to think that, since from space you can't see countries in different colors the way they appear on maps, or the dotted lines dividing them, they thought they'd landed in the United States, in Germany, and had come up short, halfway there, in Peru.
So we told my dad, who was the scientist, and my dad laughed and said: "Do you really think extraterrestrial beings are going to cross the entire universe to communicate with a bunch of kids? They'd go straight to NASA, they'd go straight to Moscow, or they'd look for a group of Chinese sages to make some revelation to, but they wouldn't waste their time on you. Please, no." So my father thought we were making fun of his research.
In those days we tried again to receive communication and we asked these beings to give my father proof. Grudgingly, my father agreed to come with us to the desert down south, and he came along with military men and their families, and a cylinder-shaped object appeared, about a hundred and fifty meters long, behind the hills. As the sun was setting (it was roughly between six-thirty and seven in the evening), the object appeared, and it was visible, spectacular, the whole thing. My father was deeply shaken. He said: "This can't be possible. So many years investigating UFOs and in the end these beings come make contact with my kids and not with me. How unfair."
So within a month there were eight of us, girls and guys, who could get the same answers to the same questions, whether we were all together or each of us on our own. My father kept quiet about what he had seen. He and the military people said: "Better not say anything, because we'll discredit ourselves." I mean, in '74, talking about these things was a surefire way to make a fool of yourself.
Behind the hills the night lit up as if it were daytime, and we all saw a light rise from between the hills.
The group grew a lot. Once or twice a month they'd invite us out to the desert. We'd go out and sometimes an object would appear, or that object would split into several, or release a cluster of little spheres, which are what we call kaneplas or foo fighters. They're like alien drones, like remote-controlled TV cameras.
By June of '74, six months had gone by since the first messages. These beings told us through the messages: "Starting with the next outing, go in groups of no more than seven people, groups based on affinity and attunement, preparing yourselves for what will be physical contact." The group, which had grown a lot by then (there were sixty or seventy of us and we all went on the same outings), didn't like being split into small groups, but the captain gives the orders, not the sailors. There must be a reason. So the seven of us went. I happened to be in the first group of seven. We went in a car one of the guys had borrowed from his dad. We got to the desert, left the car, started walking. We were heading to a spot we called the Mine, an abandoned gravel quarry. We'd had lots of sightings there. So we were walking, all bunched together. I was talking to a buddy next to me, I ask him a question and he doesn't answer. So imagine my surprise when I turn around to look for him and the others, and I was alone, and I was already at the Mine, and we'd only just started walking. So, since I couldn't explain this strange case of teleportation (I'm talking June 1974), the first thing I thought was to turn around and run back the way we usually came, find the others and have them explain what had happened.
I start running and suddenly I see a glow of light behind a nearby hill. So I figured it was the guys with their flashlights. I headed over there, got to the other side of the hill, and about a hundred meters away, on the ground, there was a golden half-moon about ten meters across, and it was sort of pulsing, sort of throbbing. I said: "Oh my God! The aliens have landed. And I'm all alone." And since up to that point everything had happened in the sky and in a group, and this was on the ground and I was by myself, I said: "No way, I can't stay here." So I turned around and forgot all about how I'd ended up there. The point was to find the others so they could see this.
I start running and I got that feeling where you run and you don't get anywhere, a really unpleasant feeling, and on top of that like I was being watched, like there was a gaze stuck to my back.
Were you scared?
Scared? It wasn't fear, it was terror. So, then… But there came a moment when the feeling of being watched was so strong that I stopped, I turned around, and out of the luminous dome came the anthropomorphic, humanoid silhouette (head, torso) of someone with their arm raised, and in my mind, with total clarity, I picked up that they were telling me: "Come." I said: "No way."
Then my legs gave out. My heart started pounding. I broke into a cold sweat. I wanted to scream "Help!" but I knew nobody would hear me. A tremendous fear. Then, for the second time, I picked up that they were telling me to come closer, but this time in the imperative, like an order. I mean, they were telling me: "Come!" And I said no way. Seven people had been invited, I was alone, and I didn't dare go closer. Besides, in the movies these beings come off so badly that who knows how I'd react if I saw something weird in there. Then, for the third time (and I was really playing hard to get), I picked up that they were telling me to come closer, but as if they were offering me their friendship, something very pleasant, as if they were saying: "Come."
Out of the luminous dome came the anthropomorphic, humanoid silhouette (head, torso) of someone with their arm raised, and in my mind, with total clarity, I picked up that they were telling me: "Come." I said: "No way."
And I said: "No, thanks, you go right ahead." So this being turned around, went into the light, and I said: "Uh-oh! Now he's gotten bored for real, he's waiting, and I'm going to regret blowing this experience." And not because I was brave, maybe out of pride, because I said to myself: "I'll never get another chance like this." So I tried to move forward however I could.
When I was very close to the luminous dome, something made me look up at the sky, and about four or five hundred meters up there was a disc-shaped object with white lights on its belly. So I said: "Wow, there are two ships: one in the air and another one right in front of me." Then I stuck my hand into the light and it went through. It wasn't solid. I stuck my leg in, stepped inside the light, and immediately regretted it, because I felt dizzy, nauseous, weightless. I felt like my whole body was burning. The light was so intense it forced me to close my eyes.
But when I could see again, there was a person standing in front of me. He was about six feet tall, a little taller than me. Stocky, heavyset. His face slightly wider than ours, very prominent cheekbones, markedly slanted eyes, and thin hair, straight and dark, falling down his back, and he really gave the impression of being Korean, Mongolian, East Asian. He wore a suit like a light-colored athletic jogging outfit, a belt, and boots. He was gesturing with his hands. The communication was mental, and I picked up with total clarity that he was telling me: "Look, I am Oxalc, the same being who has been communicating with you from the beginning." But all mentally. And he told me that what I had passed through was a xendra, a dimensional portal, a threshold in space-time.
He told me that, through their technology and psychic power, they're able to dematerialize a person, canceling out their molecular cohesion, their atomic weight, and project them somewhere else. According to him, I'd go with him to Morlen, to Ganymede, one of Jupiter's moons, six hundred million kilometers from Earth, and the time I'd spend there wouldn't correspond to time here. I figure I was with them there for about four or five days, but when I got back only fifteen minutes had passed, just enough time for the group to arrive and see me come out of the light. One of the guys, who was coming from the side, could see the xendra edge-on: just a few, few millimeters, a line of light, and I came out of nowhere, according to what my friends told me.
Now, what did I see on the other side, I mean, inside the light? He asked me to come with him and we walked, and almost instantly we came out somewhere different from the desert south of Lima. In the distance, in a valley between mountains, you could see huge cupolas like big domes or igloos, and, taking up some fifteen or eighteen times as much of the horizon as the Sun does for us, the planet Jupiter. Now I could breathe. He explained to me that they've created a microclimate and a micro-atmosphere just over their cities, which mostly extend underground on Jupiter's moons, and that beneath the surface ice of Ganymede there were oceans as big as Earth's. Saying that in 1974 was ridiculous because, according to scientists, the only place in the universe with water was Earth. We had to wait until 2006, when the Cassini probe was sent to Saturn and it was discovered that a small moon five hundred kilometers across, Enceladus, had geysers shooting vaporized water forty kilometers high that froze in space. And Saturn took that frozen water and formed the B ring, the signature ring, the biggest of all Saturn's rings.
But back then, well, the only place with water was Earth. So saying it and standing by it, through all the mockery and jokes and everything, because they've always, always made fun of the things we say, and over time science has proven it. Then in 2015, the Hubble Space Telescope detected (and it made the front pages) oceans as big as Earth's beneath the surface ice of Ganymede. Right away, every international news network got in touch with me here at home, saying: "Don, you always said so. Yes, people always made fun of you and now it turns out it was true."
Anyway, the thing is I got to see huge greenhouses where they grow their food. They're not native there, they don't originate from that place. They come from planets orbiting stars far from our solar system, between three hundred and five hundred light-years away, and they arrived at their current location on Jupiter thousands of years ago, our years, where they've set up mining colonies. And there are around sixty races, according to them (sixty extraterrestrial races), coming to Earth with all sorts of intentions.
I figure I was with them there for about four or five days, but when I got back only fifteen minutes had passed, just enough time for the group to arrive and see me come out of the light.
Not all of them come with good intentions. There's a bit of everything in the universe, just like there's a bit of everything on Earth, and there are zoomorphic-looking beings: beings that look like reptiles, that look like birds, beings that look like insects, beings that don't even have a physical appearance, or beings that can take on any appearance, that aren't what we see them as. And there are others that look humanoid. And it's not that they look like us; we look like them, since, according to them, we're a seeding of extraterrestrial life. We're star seeds. They took me to see their greenhouses. I saw hydroponic and aeroponic crops. In '74, who was talking about hydroponic and aeroponic crops? And that's already published, because I've published twenty-one books over these fifty-two years of contact.
Why do you think they took you there?
Well, first of all, because of my dad. I mean, really, if anyone was chosen, singled out, programmed, it was my dad. It wasn't us. We came in on the rebound. Here in Peru we say "de chiripa," by a fluke. Like when you play pool: you hit one and another one goes in. Just like that. Because my father, well, obviously, if he'd had an experience like this, he'd hardly have dared to say so, on a scientific level, an academic level, a professional level. But for us, his kids, in whom he'd really planted seeds of open-mindedness and all that, well, it was easier. And I never would have imagined that twelve years later I'd be invited to United Nations headquarters in New York to talk about the extraterrestrial message before accredited UN staff and diplomatic delegations. That would've been harder for me to believe than believing contact was possible.
They, the extraterrestrials, showed me a kind of gas screen suspended in the air. Today we'd call it a holographic screen, but back then to me it was like a screen made of gas in the air. A series of images of what, according to them, would be Earth's future. What they told me is that, just as a tense and anxious, depressed and stressed person can have a heart attack, psoriasis, an ulcer, or can attract negative situations into their life, precisely because of the very negativity billions of anxious, depressed and stressed human beings live in, we're creating a collective mental state so negative that we're attracting, like a magnet, the possibility of an asteroid or a comet crashing into Earth.
But maybe the most interesting message is that he told me prophecies haven't been given so they'll come true, but so they won't. It's always a warning in order to correct course. That if we reach a critical mass, meaning we get lots of people to start thinking positively, we can even influence the collision of tectonic plates, meaning the dynamics of the planet, which keeps countries like Chile and Peru constantly subject to terrible earthquakes, a product of subduction: the Nazca plate sliding under the continental plate. I mean, it's something that, like it or not, will keep happening, but we can make it as least traumatic as possible. But how? Well, the human mind is very creative, and if many of us come together with the same intention, nothing will be impossible for us.
Well, that's what they told me, and I thought it was really beautiful. I found it fun and interesting that it was such a positive message. Again, it was something like four or five days. When I came back, four days had gone by for me, but here it had been fifteen minutes, fifteen minutes. That experience was published in the first book by Juan José Benítez, the first Spanish journalist who came with us to a prearranged, scheduled encounter, that same year, '74. He devoted an entire chapter to the xendras, and that's how it came out in print in late '74, early '75.
He told me that prophecies aren't given so that they'll come true, but so that they won't. It's always a warning so you can course-correct.
Three years later, on April 25, 1977, a corporal in the Chilean Army, Corporal Armando Valdés of the Huamachuco regiment, was out patrolling the Putre area with a group of soldiers, in Arica, on Chile's northern border with Peru, where there's a lot of smuggling across the desert, when all of a sudden they saw a light. It was before dawn. It came down on a hill. Corporal Valdés, very brave, tells the soldiers, who were all young: "You stay here and cover me. I'm going to go see what this is." And he went and walked right into the light. And fifteen minutes later (the same amount of time I spent inside the xendra), in the reverse of what happened to me (meaning, they saw him go in but didn't see him come out), he appeared in the middle of them with several days' worth of beard and his watch, date and time, five days ahead. But this was three years after our experience, which is in print.
And you found out about this because they contacted you?
No, see, Patricio Bañados is one of Chile's great journalists, and he put out a series of UFO investigation documentaries covering Corporal Valdés's whole experience. Besides, the story ran in the newspapers, but, I mean, on page eight, tucked under whatever, like so nobody would read it, right? Still, it had gotten out. Also, since my father was closely connected with some of the most important ufologists in Chile, once the information came out, they passed it on to him too. So there were lots of ways for the information to reach you, but it was interesting to see how Corporal Valdés had the very same experience we'd had.
That's incredible! And what personal, life-level changes did you feel from then on?
Well, honestly, my family, my mother, my girlfriend back then, who later ended up being my wife, they'd tell me I was a different person, that I was completely different. I mean, my classmates from school, from college, when we get together now, with all this gray hair and all these years gone by, they tell me: "Sixto, it's like you're a different person." I mean, I don't think I'm possessed by some entity or anything like that, it's simply that when you go through such a traumatic experience (not in a negative sense, but something so strong, so intense) that…
It's a turning point.
It changes all the parameters, sure, it makes you see life completely differently. Because I didn't just get the chance to go with them through the portal of light; a month and a half later, the ship landed and we saw them come out physically, the crew, and not just me: all my companions. And later my companions, men and women, also went into the xendras and saw the same things I did…
Years later, my wife, my Marinita, receives a psychographic message in which these beings invited me to come aboard the ship. So I went to the Chilca desert with some other people. The ship appeared and they brought me up into it through a beam of light, and inside the ship they explained a number of things to me, like… See, my university training is in history and archaeology, that's what I studied, and what they told me was precisely the cosmic plan. Meaning: why do they come to Earth? Who are we to them? Who are they to us?
Why do they come?
According to them, we're an extraterrestrial planting. We're star seeds. We're… Here, throughout its history, there's been hybridization and interbreeding, stellar shipwrecks, colonization and even deportation to our world, so that if we don't take the extraterrestrial link into account, human history makes no sense whatsoever.
Through them I found the answers to my questions. Who are we? We're stardust, we're star seeds. We're made of the same stuff they're made of and the stars are made of, which is where we come from. The primordial source, that is. The universe is constantly recycling itself. There have been previous universes, and this one, even if it lasts billions of years, at some point is going to cool down or compact and disappear and get recycled. Everything gets recycled.
But out of all that, the experience of every being that inhabits the planets (because there are hundreds of billions of galaxies and planets and everything), well, all that experience contributes to, nourishes, the universal consciousness. I mean, when we've asked the extraterrestrials whether they believe in God, they tell us that if God didn't exist, we'd have to invent him, because it's logical, because nothing can come from nothing. If the universe always existed, there's God. If the universe arose from a big bang, such that before it there was no time or space and everything was compressed: first, who compressed it? And second, who decompressed it? Because when you've got a program zipped or compressed, you have to give it a voice command or hit the keyboard. So who was it that did it? So that universal consciousness, or that supraconsciousness encompassing everyone's consciousness, for lack of a better definition, is God. Obviously, what doesn't exist is the idea of God we've all made up for ourselves, but God exists as an incomprehensible, immeasurable, boundless force, as the manifest, and he is in us and we are in Him. It's a matter of logic, of common sense, although common sense isn't all that common. So there are a lot of people who are pretty obtuse. But hey, everyone can believe whatever they want.
And the advantage is that over these fifty-two years of contact they've shared extraordinary information with us. For example, they told us back in '74 that every twenty-six thousand years, a pulse of violet light arrives from the center of the galaxy, an energy that triggers mutations, transformations and changes of every kind. That every twenty-six thousand years, no matter what, there's going to be drastic climate change. So, according to the extraterrestrials, climate change isn't the product of human-made environmental pollution. That's speeding up the process, but it's not causing it. The real cause is cyclical and cosmic, and it comes from those pulses emitted by the center of the galaxy. According to scientists, this is impossible, because there's a supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy, and nothing good ever comes out of a black hole. Nothing came out, until November 2010, when the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope detected the pulse of violet light emitted by the center of the galaxy. And that's been in print since '74 in my first book, Los extraterrestres. So, before, we were ridiculous ignoramuses talking nonsense; now science says it, and it's true. But what we say doesn't count; what counts is what science says.
And, among other things, they also told us, back in '74, that yes, people did reach the Moon, but the Americans weren't the first ones there, the Russians were; that the Russians were always several steps ahead in the space race: they put up the first satellite, Sputnik; they put the first little animal into orbit, right, the little dog Laika; the first astronaut to circle planet Earth, who wasn't Yuri Gagarin, it was another astronaut. What happened is that this other astronaut made a spectacular trip and crashed on the way back. So it was a terrible look for the Soviet Union that its astronaut, at the last minute, ate it. So they had to wait and send Yuri Gagarin, who made the perfect trip, and only then promote it. So, three years earlier (and the extraterrestrials told us this), a full three years before the Americans got there, the Russians had supposedly reached the Moon. But it went so badly for them that they preferred to keep quiet. In 2016, the BBC in London got access to recently declassified KGB documents showing that the Russians reached the Moon with a robotic craft in '66, three years earlier, and that shortly afterward they landed a spacecraft, but one of the Russian astronauts died, another went crazy from what he saw, and the third said: "I think I'll head back."
When we've asked the extraterrestrials whether they believe in God, they tell us that if God didn't exist, we'd have to invent him, because it's logical, because nothing can come from nothing.
So time doesn't pass for nothing, and everything they've told us has been getting corroborated and verified. These days NASA has also taken into account that radiation coming from the center of the galaxy, which led Stephen Hawking himself (who has sadly passed away) to question what's at the center of galaxies, whether they're black holes or white holes, or how black holes really behave. And all precisely because of this radiation. And that very radiation, that pulse from twenty-six thousand years ago, was what actually caused the mass extinction of the mammoths, which, even though they were protected against drastic temperature changes (because they were woolly mammoths), still froze to death suddenly. So, beyond the mind-blowing, far-out stories about having had contact, seeing extraterrestrials, going aboard a ship, it's all the information they've been giving that's been scientifically corroborated over time.
Wow, Sixto! And how many races visit us?
Sixty, according to what they tell us. Sixty, among which, like I said, there's a group of beings with a humanoid appearance, ranging from four meters tall down to ten centimeters. According to the extraterrestrials (they told us in the latest messages), the ones who are only ten centimeters tall and come in teeny-tiny ships are from Epsilon Eridani. There are Black extraterrestrials, white ones, red, yellow, green, gray. And the grays are clones… Among the most advanced civilizations, clones have been made. And a lot of extraterrestrial civilizations have those clones like they're the latest trendy robot, but they're biological androids. That's why, even in ships that have crashed on the planet (which didn't crash by mere accident, but were shot down by other ships that are guarding Earth from those who don't come with good intentions), well, the ones that have been recovered are these gray beings, short, big-headed.

With big eyes.
Yes, that's right. And they look kind of like a child, right? Yeah.
Mhm. What do you think is the central message they want to deliver to humanity?
The message is that planet Earth died 1.2 billion years ago, as a result of the impact of meteor showers and of these pulses of violet light that cause all kinds of mutations. Earth couldn't withstand it. And 1.2 billion years ago the planet was completely destroyed, it vanished, it turned to dust.
So a group of extraterrestrials got authorization to travel through time and space. For the extraterrestrials, time in the universe is like an ascending spiral. In one of the curves of the spiral, Earth died, but the universe went on. So a group of civilizations gets authorization to travel through time and space (cosmic folds, interdimensional portals), they reach Earth before it dies and prevent it from dying, and they create a paradoxical alternate time that has been braiding itself together with the universe's real time. According to them, we live in a space-time paradox, in a virtual time, in a time outside the universe's real time.
In the book I wrote (one of my twenty-one books, like I said), called Contacto interdimensional, I mention that they told me on the ship that we live in a space-time paradox. Saying that in 1986 was ridiculous. Today it would be ridiculous to deny it. Why? Because on March 3, 2009, the gravitational wave detector in Hannover, Germany, GEO600, picked up some echoes coming from the far reaches of the universe that led scientist Craig Hogan to conclude that we live in a hologram, in a virtual reality, in a large-scale simulation. In February 2014, Michio Kaku, the American scientist with Japanese parents who has a TV show on Discovery Channel, stated that quantum physics was apparently confirming that we live in a hologram, in a virtual reality, in a large-scale simulation.
But we channeled it and received it beforehand. And we said so, and back then people said we were truly crazy. Beyond crazy. Like, we'd gone to college, but they'd really ripped us off. So time doesn't pass for nothing. And that's what gives our contact experience its credibility. And that's also why, with that credibility, we've been able to invite the press eleven times over these fifty-two years. I mean, there have been another eight times when journalists came along with us to scheduled encounters. On those occasions we didn't invite the press; the press invited itself, they found out and dropped in on us like paratroopers. Okay, but the eleven times we officially invited the press, they showed up. And there's a popular saying: "Build a reputation, then rest on your laurels." It would've been enough to invite the press just once and not risk them not showing up the next time. Because nobody wants to make a fool of themselves, that's for sure.
Why have we done it so many times? Because for us it's more than important to verify that it's still true that on the other end of the phone line there really is someone communicating with us, and that this isn't schizophrenia, a delusion, or a trick of the imagination. And, above all, because of the responsibility for the things you're passing on. I mean, we're talking about life and death, about extraterrestrials, we're talking about the planet's future, we're trying to sow hope. And it happened to me, when I was on TV shows in Chile, that suddenly there were these two Russian psychics who had announced that a mega-earthquake was coming for the south and center of Santiago, central Chile. And they ask me: "You, the UFO people, what do you say is going to happen to us?" "Nothing." "What do you mean nothing's going to happen? These psychics have gotten a lot right. How can you say nothing's going to happen?" "First of all, I'm nobody. Okay, but what I'm telling you, that nothing's going to happen, is because there are a whole lot of people here in Chile right now (okay, Chile, fine) who are praying, meditating in esoteric schools, meditation groups, in religions, in extraterrestrial contact groups, and they're all trying to create a positive collective state of mind, so I can assure you nothing's going to happen." "No, but they said it's going to happen on such-and-such a date." "Well, it's not going to happen." And it didn't.
For us it's more than important to verify that it's still true that on the other end of the phone line there really is someone communicating with us, and that this isn't schizophrenia, a delusion, or a trick of the imagination.
After that they didn't invite me back on the show, because it seems the media's interest is to stir things up, spread anxiety, keep people hooked, not with positive topics, but always looking for the negative side. And that's also part of the media's failure. I mean, people are always looking for another option, another kind of information, or alternative sources. And, well.
When was your last contact with them?
Well, it was the day before yesterday. The day before yesterday we were… That's why I'm all sunburned and everything, because we were out in the desert. There were about a hundred of us. There were sightings, there were xendras, those dimensional portals. Two groups of twelve people each went in (even though only two groups of twelve have ever gone in) and we received interesting messages about what's happening worldwide, about this object 3I/ATLAS, right?, this third interstellar object, right?, after Borisov, after Oumuamua. Because we take the chance to ask them about everything. And the most interesting thing is that those messages always come, well, with their support and their close presence. And that was just the day before yesterday, Saturday night.
And is there any message from that last one you'd like to highlight?
That before the year is out there are going to be very positive changes that will affect the three great world powers. I mean, we're talking about Russia, the United States, and China. Major changes, but ones that will bring very positive consequences. And they say it'll be before the year is out. So, well, why not think it'll be that way? We all have to contribute to making it so.
You mentioned the third interstellar object. Can you explain a bit about that?
Well, first of all, there are tons of objects entering our solar system, and governments have always tried to hide it, to keep it, let's say, secret, because any knowledge you have that others don't gives you power and control over everyone else.
Precisely, when people ask me why the UFO issue has been kept hidden: first, because the military doesn't care whether they're extraterrestrials or foreigners. The moment an unidentified flying object invades your airspace and you can't stop it, it's a matter of national security. In front of the taxpayers, you're making a fool of yourself, but you can't do anything about it. What are borders for? What's the military for, if it's a sieve?
On the other hand, the most lucrative business today, rivaled in profitability only by international drug trafficking, is the arms trade. If it's proven that these beings exist and don't come with bad intentions, that would force every country in the world to unite as one great nation before the visitors. Better they find us united than at each other's throats. Now, if we all unite (if we're all called Chile, or we're all called the United States, or in the end we're all called Earth), well, the important thing is that borders disappear, foreign debt disappears, because there'd be no one owing anything to anyone, right? So I don't think the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, or the Paris Club would be too happy about borders disappearing and debts disappearing, debts that are impossible to pay anyway and that never really helped the countries in the first place; they went straight into the pockets of the corrupt politicians who negotiated them and who were, at the same time, employees of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank. So all of that would disappear.
Now, what also happens if these beings, as a gesture of goodwill, show us where all the big hydrocarbon deposits are, the mineral deposits we still don't know about? Prices would crash on the international market, because the value of all of it depends on its scarcity or how hard it is to access. Right. And how do our religions come out of it?
Terribly.
I mean, why, if religious leaders are in contact with the divine, did they never tell us we had brothers on other planets? I mean, if they knew, why did they hide it? And if they didn't know, how come they didn't know, if they were in contact with the boss? I mean, the culture shock at the political, social, economic, and religious level is radical.
In 2019 there was a leak of secret Pentagon documents that reached National Geographic. National Geographic is a science magazine, it never touches UFO topics, and yet in its March 2019 issue it ran the headline "No, we are not alone". We are not alone. We're not alone. No, no. I mean, not as a question, but as a statement. And they published the leaked documents, which someone stole, which were handed over from the Pentagon. And those same documents reached the Washington Post, and it ran on the front page of the Washington Post: "UFOs exist and the fact can no longer be denied." Then there was such a scandal that a public hearing had to be held before the US Senate Intelligence Subcommittee, and they asked the Pentagon: "Okay, are these documents real?" "Yes, they're real." "And why have you hidden them?" "Because we considered it inadvisable to make them public," and so on. "Well, now you're going to have to talk about this."
Then the pandemic hit, not much more could be done, but after the pandemic passed there's been another series of public hearings. In March… sorry, at the end of May 2023 a new hearing is held and all the top brass, all of NASA's directors, are summoned, and the Senate asks them: "Do you investigate the UFO issue or not?" And they said: "Well, yes, we investigate it; the thing is we don't know what we're seeing, we don't know what it is, we don't have parameters to understand the phenomenon." At that point Sean Kirkpatrick showed up, the liaison between the Pentagon and NASA, saying: "No, we do know. NASA does know. They're gigantic cylinder-shaped objects up to a hundred kilometers long that have been videotaped and photographed from the International Space Station, the ISS, which circles planet Earth at an altitude of four hundred kilometers." And those images? Those videos are posted on NASA's website.
The thing is people waste their time on TikTok or waste time on other stuff. But there are scientific sites that would be worth combing through, and you'd really find all of that there. So, what Kirkpatrick said was backed by Avi Loeb, an astronomer at Harvard University, the most important astronomer at Harvard today. And he said everything he said was true, exactly as stated, and that he himself was leading an expedition with scientists, a multidisciplinary expedition. And they were going to dive into the Pacific Ocean, off Papua New Guinea, since a UFO, an interstellar object that had come in from outside the solar system, had crashed into the sea. And the capital, the funds being used for this research, were all private, because if they were public, from some country, they'd immediately shut the research down. So they descended more than four hundred meters deep and found seven hundred twenty-five spherules, spheres of platinum, of titanium, titanium, with a high concentration of uranium, higher than what exists in our solar system, which means they're of interstellar origin. So a whole series of objects are arriving from outside the solar system, and now it can't be hidden the way it used to be, because those who controlled the radars, those who controlled the scientists in governments… now the information is leaking out everywhere.
Now, in July, well, it was reported that telescopes, in Chile in fact, had picked up an object entering through Jupiter's orbit that came from outside the solar system. They named it 3I/ATLAS: third interstellar object, detected by the ATLAS telescopes. And about this third object they've said: "It's not a comet and it doesn't behave like a comet." "Well, it's an asteroid." "It doesn't behave like an asteroid either." It's emitting carbon dioxide as if it had a population of close to a million individuals breathing inside the craft. It has its own light. The planets' gravity doesn't affect it. "So it's not a comet?" "No." Scientists don't know what it is. "But it can't be a ship, because… because it just can't be." And then it's said: "There's a high probability that it really is an extraterrestrial spacecraft."
Why, if religious leaders are in contact with the divine, did they never tell us we had brothers on other planets? I mean, if they knew, why did they hide it?
Now, the 3I/ATLAS thing shouldn't worry us too much. Why? Because NASA itself has already acknowledged that there are gigantic objects orbiting the Earth and that they're being observed in our world. From the end of last year, 2024, through March 2025, there's been a wave of UFO sightings in the United States so, so massive that flying objects have been recorded in twenty US states, and in a completely out-of-control way. I mean, it's incredible: this isn't decreasing, it's increasing.
And the latest public hearing held by the US Senate was just now, on September ninth, and the high-ranking military officers who testified all stated that the US government has hidden evidence, proof, and has even destroyed evidence. They're saying it under oath before the US Congress. So the legislative branch has already concluded that UFOs do exist, that they're not from Earth, that they don't come with bad intentions, and that they're a technology far beyond anything humans have developed. But the executive branch doesn't want to accept it. Why? Because, obviously, well, it would lose control. Its image would really take a hit, and on top of that it would have to answer for everything that's been hidden, and there have even been people murdered to keep this information under wraps.
Sixto, would you venture a geopolitical analysis of the current world situation taking extraterrestrial influences into account?
Naturally, yes. According to the extraterrestrials (and the story they told me there inside the ship), twenty-six thousand years ago, our years, two great civilizations were sent to Earth as guardians and watchers. Some were beings from Orion and the others were beings from the Pleiades. In other words, what we know as Orion or what we know as the Pleiades.
So, the beings from Orion were three and a half meters tall, with tails, reptilian in appearance, and very intelligent, very evolved. And on the other hand there were the Pleiadians, beings of anthropomorphic, humanoid appearance. The idea of these beings was to observe us. We are a sociological, anthropological, metaphysical, extraterrestrial experiment. Let's understand that these civilizations have advanced a great deal technologically and mentally at the cost of sacrificing emotions and feelings, considering all that to be kind of very basic, kind of very primitive, and over time they've realized that they've reached a level of evolution where they've stagnated, because they're unable to handle emotions and feelings, because at some point they set them aside.
So the idea was to experiment on us, and not only on Earth. Earth was selected along with seven other planets (eight in total), planets that had no future, planets that were destroyed at some point and that they reached by traveling through time and space, through those cosmic folds. So their intention was to come, experiment, observe us, and once they had extracted all the information they were interested in, they were going to reset us, they were going to make us disappear as if we had never existed, as if we had never been.
The problem is that, in contact with us, egos, meaning feelings, passions, affected them, to the point that these reptilian beings had themselves worshipped as gods, took entire peoples as their private fiefdoms, fought among themselves. Some felt envy toward human beings, because we were a sort of corrected and improved version of them. Others, on the contrary, feared that we might endanger the cosmic order.
Meanwhile, the Pleiadians, on the contrary, developed such a level of empathy with human beings that they fell in love with human beings. And that's the myth of Prometheus: Prometheus steals fire from the gods to give it to humans. And that's exactly what the Pleiadians did. The Pleiadians, to make sure humanity wouldn't be reset (even though we were a paradoxical alternate timeline, outside the real time of the universe), hybridized with human beings on Earth. That's what chapter six of Genesis says: when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, the sons of God, the angels of heaven, saw the daughters of men that they were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose, and they bore children to them. From these came the mighty heroes of old. Isn't that the same thing they talk about in Greek mythology, that Zeus had, well, his love affairs with mortal women or with nymphs, and out of that came demigods, Hercules, Perseus and all those kinds of folks? Even European nobility tries to justify its own blue blood by being sort of heirs of the gods. And those gods were beings who came from the sky and hybridized with human beings on Earth.
So, when the Orions realized they had really put their foot in it, up to the neck (since they had even created very strong tensions among themselves), they wanted to cancel the cosmic plan's project for Earth. The Pleiadians, on the contrary, wanted the project to continue. So they fought each other, and that's what is known today as the Orion Wars; in Greek mythology, the war of the Titans against the Olympian gods.
These cosmic wars led to the leaders of the Orions being defeated and deported and exiled to Earth. Used to living thousands of years off Earth, they died, and they're currently on our planet as specters. In other words, they died and were deported to Tartarus, to the underworld, to Xibalba, to the inner-earth world, and there they died. These beings are no longer physically here, but they're psychically trapped on our planet. They exercise political and global control through weak people, weak in character, weak-willed, people who have no qualms about selling their souls in exchange for perks and leading the world toward self-destruction. How else do you explain, for example, that in 2006 North Korean leader Kim Jong-il suddenly got the idea to launch two nuclear bombs, one at Japan and another at the United States? And at the risk that the radioactive cloud could also come around, turn back and return to where it came from.
Many of the leaders we're seeing in the world today are demonically possessed by entities. Right now we're seeing the situation in Israel and Palestine, really. It's terrible, but the people of Israel aren't to blame, nor are the Palestinian people to blame for what's happening. Both the leaders of Israel and the leaders of Palestine are demonically possessed, because why attack Israel knowing they're going to crush you? I mean, to expose your people for no reason? It made no sense at all, right? And Mossad is the most efficient intelligence agency in the world. They didn't know they were going to attack a youth festival of more than three hundred young Jewish people who came from all over the world? And allow the festival to be held a few kilometers from the border? Pretty suspicious, right? Of course, that's why: "Think the worst and you'll be right."
There's truly arms trafficking here, and behind all of it there are big dark interests, but ones that go beyond the money side, beyond the control of power. I mean, there are very sinister forces, and they're of extraterrestrial origin, unfortunately. These beings are trapped in our world and exercise control and dominion over part of humanity, but not total control, not to the point that we have no hope. And why? In some way, the well-intentioned extraterrestrials allow this to happen, because every force is met by an opposing force of equal intensity. And we're their experiment. They want to see how far we're really capable of counteracting and neutralizing that dark, sinister force. That's why, if many of us come together with the same intention, we can change the planet's future.
On 11/11/2011, a worldwide call was made to counteract everything that had been announced, prophesied, everything that had been said might happen. They had misinterpreted the Maya prophecies, saying that by 2012, by December twenty-first, 2012, the end of the world was coming. Even NASA helped scare people, saying that in 2012 the most terrible solar storm was coming, that on the scale it would be one of the most powerful and that it was going to fry the planet.
And so, on the eleventh of the eleventh, 2011… And in numerology, the number eleven is courage, persuasion and force. You have to have the courage to use persuasion and not force, not to force things. So, on 11/11/2011, a worldwide call was made, and millions of us around the world came together praying, meditating, each in our own style, our own way, to try to create a positive collective mental state, a critical mass that could really change the planet's future. And between March fifth and sixth, 2012, the most terrible solar storm took place. The shock wave was expected to reach Earth within twenty-four hours. And the planet? And what happened? Nothing. And the scientists, after an exhaustive study, an in-depth analysis, said we had gotten lucky. I mean, you have to be a scientist, have a pile of PhDs, to reach the conclusion that we got lucky. There's no such thing as luck. And on December twenty-first, 2012, there was no end of the world or anything like it.
Besides, the Maya never talked about the end of the world. They talk about the end of the wheel of baktuns, a cycle of twenty-five thousand six hundred and twenty-five years that ended so another could begin, that's all. But fear does people more harm, right? All the social networks were going on about how the end of the world is coming, the three days of darkness and all that. That's not true. The world isn't going to end; the world is going to transform. In fact, it's already transforming, and we have the power to steer events on every level. And that's the big message. I mean, there's no longer any chance of them resetting us, that is, of them somehow canceling the project, because they've already lost control over us, because humanity has truly exceeded expectations.
The world isn't going to end; the world is going to transform. In fact, it's already transforming, and we have the power to steer events on every level.
And on December twenty-first, 2012, when another pulse of violet light arrived with greater intensity than ever, the positive collective mental state got the Earth to move into the fourth dimension. So we've come out of… I mean, if before there was an alternate timeline braiding itself with real time and they were supposedly irreconcilable, they ended up merging into a single timeline on December twenty-first, 2012, and now there's a third timeline, a new reality for us.
Things haven't changed much. The ones for whom things have changed radically, even retroactively, are the extraterrestrials. We've changed their history, and the ones who keep making our lives impossible know they're doomed to fail, but they're stuck in the inertia of doing what they've always done, and they'll keep doing it. Who knows, until they have no choice but to accept that humanity managed to get through its growing pains.
Right now, for example, all the social networks are being flooded with images of racial hatred to try to create tension. Since the war between Ukraine and Russia is losing steam, and so is the Israel and Gaza thing and all that, well, they immediately have to invent something to make people depressed, anxious, discouraged… They thought they were going to make people more anxious with a possible US invasion of Venezuela, and yet people took it as a sign of hope that totally positive changes were coming, and that's why they never quite act, because what they thought would bring more tension to the planet, well, they realize it actually lowered global tension. It didn't work out the way they wanted.
If I had to give an analysis, I'd tell you we're irremediably doomed to be happy and for the world to pull through, and it will. They believe in us. Now what's missing is for us to start believing in ourselves too and give ourselves a real chance.
Okay, Sixto, maybe here we'd like to ask you more about a somewhat more psychological dimension of everything you've told us. How do you handle the gap between what you lived through and what other people believe or doubt?
Well, it's a bit difficult, because we also… I mean, me, personally, I've had to break down a lot of my religious frameworks, all my preconceptions, prejudices, ideas, even though we were very innocent, very, very young. When we started the contact we had all that cultural baggage. I had studied eleven years with the Marist Brothers and I studied six years at the Catholic University. So my whole education was Catholic. So, in some way, I was always someone with a really strong inclination toward spiritual seeking and all that. So, like it or not, all of that always had an influence. And I think the extraterrestrials have been very respectful, and at the same time they've also been very patient and have gradually led us to break our frameworks, to question many of the ideas and things we already had sort of preset. And they've totally changed the picture for us.
And along the way, when people come and maybe challenge you and tell you something like, "No, Sixto, we don't believe a word you say" or "You're crazy," how do you respond?
The policy, both mine and the group I'm part of (because this isn't Sixto Paz's story, it's the story of a collective of people, of which I'm just one more), from the start has always been "come and see." In other words: "Come, give yourself a chance, join us and verify it." So I couldn't care less that there are people who say "I don't believe a word." Why? Because we've been able to prove this is true and that it's still true after all this time. Like I told you at the beginning, right? Why invite the press so many times? You'd have invited them just once and not risked it not showing up the next time, right?
And besides the eleven times the press was invited, and those eight more times other journalists have come along with us, we've also been accompanied by a judge, a civil court judge, Joaquín Goyenechea, from Barcelona, Spain; Dr. Ana María Polo, the judge from the show Caso Cerrado, from Miami.
In 2006, we (both the groups in Chile and us) received messages, which we later cross-checked, saying that we were going to have a very important contact experience on Rapa Nui, Easter Island, in Chile's Fifth Region, in other words, in Chilean Polynesia. At the last minute, Dr. Mario Dussuel, a psychiatrist advising CEFAA, the Chilean Air Force's Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena, found out about it, got in touch with me and said: "Don Sixto, I've heard you're going to have an extraterrestrial contact experience on Easter Island. Would it be possible for me to come along?" But in a skeptical way. I told him: "Look, doctor, for a long time now there have been people who think that both I and the group I belong to need a psychiatrist. And urgently. So what could be better than you volunteering to come with us, and you won't even charge us for the session." So he came with us. The only condition we set was that he meditate with us. He said: "Sure, I'm up for the meditation." So he started meditating. And then, around the second or third day, right in front of him, I received the psychographic message saying what time, what day and where on the island they were going to appear. At that moment he must have thought: "They're worse off than I imagined."
The day before the contact, we met, along with Dr. Mario Dussuel, with the radar operators and the civilian and military staff of the control tower at Mataveri Airport, and told them about the experience we were going to have. Since they'd seen me on TV so much, they said: "Well, alright, out of curiosity we'll keep an eye out. Okay." So we went to the spot, at the foot of the Poike volcano, next to Tongariki, which is one of the two hundred and fifty ceremonial platforms there are on the island. And two objects appeared, maneuvering. There were twenty-five of us, including the psychiatrist, and the psychiatrist was deeply shaken. Then we went back to the airport, and the radar operators and the civilian and military control tower staff came out and congratulated me in front of the psychiatrist: "That was spectacular. We have it recorded on the radar screen. It was two objects maneuvering over Poike." And then Dr. Mario Dussuel said: "Well, now I can't argue it was mass hysteria or a hallucination."
I told him: "Look, doctor, for a long time now there have been people who think that both I and the group I belong to need a psychiatrist. And urgently."
Not long after, he left CEFAA and devoted himself to meditation and inner work and all that. In other words, he was able to verify the reality of contact for himself. So when someone tells me "I don't believe you"… You don't have to believe: this isn't a matter of faith. Faith is the business of religions. Faith is the certainty of what isn't seen. When something is real, give yourself the chance to verify it. The scientific method is verification, corroboration, and when the same phenomenon can be reproduced more than once, it becomes scientific.
Perfect. Well, you also told us off camera that your wife was a psychologist. How did her discipline and yours intersect?
Well, my wife studied psychology at Garcilaso de la Vega University, here in Lima, and I think I was a… I was an interesting specimen for her. She was always quite critical, and yet she was the first one to show up for the outings to the desert. She also received messages, like the one inviting me for the first time to go aboard a ship, on April eighteenth, '86. She was the one who received that message. And I don't think she received it because she wanted to get rid of me: "Take him away, and far," right? The relationship was always very good.
And what human and spiritual lessons do you take, personally, from this journey of more than five decades?
Well, first of all, that all of humanity's great problems are problems of lack of communication. We want to communicate with beings from other worlds, and yet communication among ourselves fails a lot. There's no communication with oneself, no communication with your partner, with your parents, with your children. We leave too many things unsaid, taken for granted. So until we develop telepathy, we have to develop empathy, sympathy, every possible channel. Let's overdo dialogue and communication. And that will make all of humanity's great problems disappear.
As we wrap up, we'd like to ask you a few questions we repeat in every interview. The first one is: if you could talk to your eighteen-year-old self, what would you say?
That the message is positive, that it's worth it, that you shouldn't stop doing it. In other words, keep going. It was worth it. Fifty-two years later. Yes.
What book, movie or experience would you recommend to people who want to get a little closer to this subject?
Well, hmm, really, if they're truly interested in growing spiritually, Robert Way's book The Garden of the Beloved, or Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Or I'd recommend, for example, books like Chariots of the Gods?, by Erich von Däniken, or Timeless Earth, by Peter Kolosimo, since those were books that also inspired me enormously in the search and the drive to really uncover the extraterrestrial presence throughout history, and to know that they, the extraterrestrials, are our past and we are their future, in the sense that they have great expectations about everything they're learning and can keep learning from us.
Another question we ask a lot is whether you've ever been in therapy.
Well, having lived alongside a psychologist, my Marinita, has been the best therapy.
And for a long time.
A whole lifetime, fifty-three years together. Beyond that, Marinita was the best friend I've ever had. And with a friend like that, life truly was easy to live. And now, two years after her passing, I miss her a lot, but she also taught me to accept the fact of death, not as the end of everything, but as the opportunity to stay connected, just on other planes and in other dimensions. And we're still at it. The connection remains.
And finally, what would you like to keep resonating with the people listening to this episode of Escucho voces?
That they shouldn't believe anything I've told them. That they should investigate, search, because those who seek, find. And in the end, beyond the anecdotes about whether you went aboard a ship, whether you saw an extraterrestrial and all that, what matters is knowing that we're not alone, that we never have been, and that if these beings managed to survive and get through growing-pain crises like the one we're living through today, there's no reason for us to think we're going to destroy ourselves. If they made it, why can't we?
Don't believe anything I've told you. Investigate, search, because those who seek, find.
And, as I was saying, they believe in us. The problem is that we don't believe in ourselves. And they acknowledge that they've committed many arbitrary acts, many errors, many blunders where we're concerned, but they're trying to correct course as they go. There are others who don't want to make amends, or change, or correct anything. But the only advantage those forces of darkness have over humanity is that, while they know their limitations, we don't even know our possibilities. It's a problem of ignorance. That's why the Master Jesus said: "I will give you the truth, and the truth shall set you free." Free from what? From the only original sin that drags us down, which is ignorance.
Well, Sixto, honestly, it's been a real privilege for us to listen to you, to be with you, to be in your home and, above all, to go through such a singular life story, one that mixes the unknown, the human experience and questions that are still with us. Thank you for sharing your time and your voice with us in this episode.
Thank you for making the effort to travel so many miles to be here with me. Really, the honor is all mine.
Oh, please. Thank you so much.
